Apologies for the Lack of Posts During Dec. 07 and Jan. 08

By Shawn Medero on 2008-01-20T04:19:23Z

I moved across the country, from Philadelphia to Seattle, and it is taken a little bit to find my bearings.

Most of December was spent working out the details of my new job, getting everything in place for me to move and finishing out tasks for my former employer. The traditional winter holidays celebrated in the United States slowed me down as well.

January was spent moving and getting up to speed with my new employers. I’ve met some wonderful people in Seattle and I’m excited to be out on the west coast. My new job focuses me even more on my favorite technology subjects: interface design & large scale data mining - the topics covered in this blog won’t change at all.

If you are not subscribed already I encourage everyone to monitor the db79.com feed because we’ve got an irregular posting schedule (if you are used to sites with a daily publishing routine) and the feed is the best way to know when there is new content. For a feed consumption tool I recommend Google Reader, warts and all.
