Shawn Medero is a father, interface designer, cooking junkie, technology enthusiast, not-so-classically trained music groupie, amateur historian who once dreamed of becoming a professional ice hockey player. He enjoys playing cards, fiddling with mobile devices, reading anything he can get his hands on and trying new beers. He was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, most recently lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and now lives in Seattle, Washington with his wife Julie Medero and son. Shawn has been active blogger since 1996, running sad little websites on ISP and University provided hosting, and later via zooropa.cc, soypunk.com, and db79.com. Most of these websites have been deemed hugely unsuccessful by any popular benchmarks. He hates writing in the third person but can not imagine ignoring the traditional bio format.
