It has come to my attention, from a woman serving our country, that db79.com is blocked as unacceptable material by the United States Army. This is likely because somewhere along the way I mentioned a naughty word caught by a simple string or regex pattern matching engine like those found in various internet content filtering tools.
There’s not much I can do about it. In the past this website’s content was rarely focused and often focused on absurdities littered through the internet. One would hope that these content filtering tools would monitor potentially blocked sites for relevancy. It can’t be terribly hard to match the frequency of occurrences (as defined by the package’s own word list) for blocked text terms and compare to the rest of site’s public content. Then find a happy balance between a site that always has inappropriate content versus one that crossed the line a few times.
